Washington DC critter removal, A few days ago our house started giving off a horrible odor. After cleaning several times our friends came over and told us that we probably a dead mouse or rat. Any chance you know of anyone with your skill in Frederick, Maryland?

I moved into a house already infested with both regular house mice and attic rats. I have 3 dogs and a cat, yes the cat kills them when he can catch them. My husband wants to use poison which I am very much against for fear of my cat getting second hand poisoning. The rodents are eating wires to my stereo, phone and I think even my kitchen electrical wiring. I have tried snap traps buy they manage to escape from those,they worked for about the first day or two I had them out. I don't like glue traps because of the inhumanity to the rodents. I may not like them in my house but that's no reason to be cruel and make them suffer more than they have to. Landlord just said put out poison and will not even provide it. Please if you can think of a suggestion to help me I would be grateful for your help.

Hi Washington DC critter removal, Is there anything I can do to deter rats and mice from trying to come into the Frederick, Maryland house during the winter months? I hear some are starting to chew their way in. In one area I smell the urine, going to try the vacuuming with dawn in the area. Cannot afford exterminator at this time.
