We have rats in the loft space and Im confident that we have all entries sealed - they have no access to food and possibly not water so how long before they die? After reading your website I will go purchase some snap traps but meanwhile, wont they just starve to death?! Thanks

Hello Washington DC critter removal, I came across your website whilst searching the Internet for some help with my rat problem. I live in Alexandria VA and have problems with rats living under our decking in the garden. I know that they are outside so probably shouldn't worry but I have 2 small children (2 and 4 yrs) and I am very concerned as rats carry some nasty diseases, not to mention the damage they may do to my decking by gnawing it. I have been putting snap traps down with some success (mostly smaller younger rats being caught) but I seem to have a very old, wise and larger rat that can manage to get the bait off every time without setting the trap off. I did resort to using poison and put it down everyday in child proof bait boxes. The poison is all gone every morning but this has been going on for months now and I can't work out why it's getting eaten but the rats not dying ? I would really appreciate any advice you could give me for solving my rat problem under my decking. Thank you

I'I'M RENTING A HOUSE THROUGH SECTION 8 PROGRAM. AROUND THANKSGIVING I NOTICE A BIG HOLE UNDER MY SINK IN THE KITCHEN, TOOK A PICTURE AND SENT IT TO MY LANDLORD SHE SAID HER NEPHEW WAS COMING TO PATCH IT UP. I BOUGHT RAT FOOD BRILLO PADS N GRAY TAPE TO PATCH THE HOLE. THEY ENTERED ANOTHER SPOT DID THAT ONE ALSO. A FEW DAYS LATER FOUND A RAT DEAD OUTSIDE MY HOUSE THE SIZE OF A GROUND HOG MY SON SAY'S. I THREW POISON AROUND THE HOUSE NOTHING FOR AWHILE. A FEW DAYS AGO ANOTHER 1 ENTER THRU THE PRIOR TAPE. I SCARED AS HELL I SUFFER WITH CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE. MY LANDLORD WHEN I SIGNED MY LEASE SAID THEIR NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PEST CONTROL WHAT CAN I DO? I LIVE IN ALEXANDRIA VA. PICTURES COMING SOON.
